Facebook groups disappearing like compromised cells

I expect that everyone knows how cell structure works for groups engaged in covert activities. I've been thinking about that structure a lot lately because I see the facebook groups I frequent disappearing one at a time. It makes me think about what it might have been like to be a member of a cell or persecuted group 75 years ago.

One by one, a group disappears and the remaining ones all know that it's just a matter of time until they go too. Most groups are migrating else where to back up sites, but they are no better than discussion boards like this one.

What happens when ALL online commerce in firearms becomes federally regulated? When even the discussion and sharing of images becomes regulated?
