Log Cabin Plans

Anyone ever built a log cabin from scratch? Like felling trees and doing all the notching and work like that?

Also, does anyone know of online plans for such a thing?

I dont know about the web but a damn good book is

Building The Traditional Hewn Log Home by Peter Gott. It was published by Mother Earth News.

I built a log home from old logs salvaged from a barn. They were already hewned though I just notched them and trimed them.
