  • are gun lockers air tight ... enough?

my father has a couple of stack-ons in the closet and i was wondering if he should be using dessicant in there but if they arent air tight at all then it wouldnt really serve a purpose right?

Dessicant will still help, but will need to be dried out more often. Before I bought a golden rod, I put weatherstripping on the gun locker door. Not totally air tight, but it cuts down on some of the exchange.

A buddy had one or these and while his guns didn't rust, they actually grew mildew, mold or whatever on the wood and plastic furniture. I'd install a Golden rod, incandescent light, something to remove ALL moisture.
