  • camelbak thermobak cap o-ring - replacements ?

more news on the Camelbak front - I find the o-ring in the cap is cracked and has a gap. No wonder it leaks.

So, does anyone know where to get these 1.75" dia o-rings ? It's not a common plumbing size for Lowe's at least.

Is the only alternative to buy a replacement cap ? I got some folderol from Eastern Mtn Sports that Camelbak has switched to a different cap style, but since the Thermobak has an NSN and was mil-issue I kinda think they didn't know what they were talking about.

    Your help appreciated as usual...

[edit] looks like it's a -031. Anyone know if these are generally available at a decent hardware store ? TIA

solved with an o-ring from the one real hardware store left in town. No, Sam Walton's outfit didn't have it.

Other option was to contact Camelbak's warranty department and they'd likely send you a new one.
