i agree, the notch they added really helps taking them off. ive never had one break either, and i used to hang my helmet off a pouch held on by 2 of em. i caught it on just about everything too. the way ther are made, it would be tough to have one break accidently

Thanks, that was pretty much how I see it, I've been deliberately abusing them to no avail. The never model is even nicer than the old IMO.

Nope. I got peeved and cut one off since I couldn't get it open. Sliced like warm butter. But never had one break.
