I do a lot of USPSA type 3-gun competition shooting and I'm looking for a rugged and secure magazine pouch that will hold STI type/size .40 caliber double-stack magazines (140mm long). Can any of you recommend a good mag pouch that you know will hold an STI double stack mag?
I'm looking at the Tactical Tailor tripple mag pouch, the Paraclete TXM4 combination AR and pistol mag pouch. I really like the idea of keeping the retention flap optional, and using a kydex insert to retain the mag if the situation allows.
