Guest repliedUPS just dropped off my tan pack. When I ordered it, it was backordered like I posted above, but they wound up shipping me an OD one with the rest of my order by mistake. I sent it back, and they sent me a tan one (must have come right off the sewing table), and threw in some extras for the confusion. It was really nice of them.
I really like the tan they have (more of a coyote than a khaki), and their sewing is GTG. I'm really liking Tactical Tailor.

Guest repliedIf anyone is looking for an ACU pack, a fella over on ar15.com has one for sale here's the ad:
Tactical Tailor ACU 3-day Pack.
This is the newer version, even newer than the photos on their website. The rows of webbing on the back pouch had only four very wide"channels". This newer version's back webbing has the channels sewn much closer together (6 now). Both sides of the pack now have 5 horizontal rows of webbing, that's 2 more rows than the older style. These side channels are also sewn closer together.
$115 + $10 shipping.
and now the link: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=90&t=318783

That sucks Crom. I ordered ad OD three day on the second online, with some of the other molle pouches that were still on sale, and the order went through. the next day, only the woodland was on sale!

Got my MultiCam pack yesterday. Very nice. Shoulder straps are more thickly padded than the Eagle A-III, but the Eagle is lined with Packcloth in parts for a 'smoother' internal finish. However, for $67, one could not have done better with the TT.

Guest repliedCrom, you are correct in what you say. I just for one 3-day pack in woodland and 2 large utility pouches to mount on the sides. Being from the northeast woodland works fine for me.

Guest repliedThanks to the ACU & Multicam crazes, along with the ehhm, "long term commitment" of occupying middle eastern countries by our military; Gear for non-arid terrain is cheaper and more abundant.
TT has most of their woodland & OD gear on sale for good prices. Now is a great time for a civilian patriot to stock up on good gear that is well suited to much of the U.S.
