  • Looking for custom work need bag made.

Looking for someone to sew/make a simple custom pouch or two up for me. Want it made out of heavy duty nylon cloth or ballistic nylon.

Basically what I want is the old Nam style claymore bag with a extra long adjustable strap and heavy duty reenforced pouch bottoms and a simple D ring on the two bottom corners (for a removable leg strap)
Velcro can replace the metal snaps the orignal bag uses to close the top.

I plan to use this to carry shot gun shells. Slugs in one side and buck in the other.

Anyone know of a ready made product that will do the same thing?

Like being able to just sling a bag of ammo over my shoulder and go, no web gear to mess with.

John, I've been looking for a shell bag for years, like you I think custom made is the only thing thats gonna work. I'd like mine to have three compartments though, a box of small game loads MIGHT come in handy if on the move.

        SO Tech GO BAG perhaps?

It's a little big, but it'll hold a buttload of shells, and then some.

          How about this:

A Maxpedition modular panel (has D-rings for sling) and a couple of shot shell pouches:

Or if you prefer, open panels for the shells instead of pouches (vertical or horizontal):

Never used this EOD utility bag , but I bookmarked it a while back thinking about getting one. It is basically a modernized MOLLE version of the classic claymore bag.

I had a real nice vest done up a number of years back by a place called Custom Tactical Creations. I think the guy's name was Roger. But I tried to have some other work done, and I don't think it was the same place, different guy, different name, horrible work.

I think this is the correct guy: http://www.customtactical.com/

Yup ... and I had some really crappy upper arm protectors done by him (Multicam with black stitching and hook and loop), thinking it was Roger. Looked real rookie and half ass. I should have know, but wasn't paying attention. Par for the course.
