Got some bills to pay so these two are on the block. I hate to see them go, especially the M48BO.
The K.98k mauser is a bcd 4 coded Mauser from Weimar, built in '44. Russian capture I suspect as most of the Waffenampts have been struck over and then reblued. Very nice job they did though and the wood is in very good condition with no cracks or splits.
Bolt group matches, barrel and receiver matches, but they don't all match. Headspaces correctly and I've fired this a total of 10 rounds since buying in 1998. Unmolested (except by the Russians) and not Bubba'ed in any way.
Cleaning rod and sight hood missing and did not come with it when I bought it as surplus.
Bore is good with strong lands a grooves, but is not mirror bright. Buyer pays shipping via USPS Priority Mail and a USPS Money Order is the only form of payment accepted.

This one is an unissued Yugoslav M48 BO Mauser that was bought as-new and unissued back in '02. Ten rounds through this rifle too. The blueing is beautiful on this rifle and the wood is very nicely figured. The stock was sanded to 1000 grit and waxed. No rounded edges. Much nicer in person that photos will show.
Bore mirror bright and as-new unissued as the rest of this matching rifle is.
$350 firm on this one. Wait 'til you see it in person.
