First we had cloth wraps, then cotton gauze with cotton puffs.
Next generation were these newfangled bandaid's. Paper with adhesives and a cotton center, then plastic and back again to cloth, then a new-skin flexible type.
Yesterday I went all out and purchased this weird new type - super expensive 1.25 per bandage.
They call it Hydroseal and it sucks the wound clean using your bodies plasma to create a synthetic scab. I keep wanting to take it off but the instructions say when it's time to change the adhesives will release, then you clean and reapply. No need for creams or salves.
I'll let you know if this expensive bandage is worth it.
