    For the price, pretty good. I have the UV-5RE+, and BF-F9V2+. Both are easy to program using CHIRP. Note both radios require a minimum of a Technicians license from the FCC to be operated legally in the United States. The BF-F9V2+ adds 8W maximum output as the primary difference.
