If it's what I think it is, except for the silent vibrate option it looks like an average GMRS radio.

Do not believe the range ratings printed on any radio's packaging. Unless you're over water or another completely flat, vegitation freee area, you'll never see those distances.

Please note that to legally use a GMRS radio you need to have an FCC license.

Anyone have any experience with Remington Real Talk II GMRS/FRS radios? They claim a 5 mile range and come with a rechargeable battery pack and charger.
