This is a perfect noise reducing microphone for the EMT's, Firefighters, Police, Airline Personnel and professional security officers.
The Sniper edition has dual transponders for exceptional sound clarity, also an upgraded earpiece (with volume control) to improve hearing in extremely loud environments.

the only thing I would worry about with that one is the amount of open connections on it, whereas the ones I am looking at only have a connection opening where the pin goes in the radio.

Yes, you can also have these cell phone throatmic without the fancy switches/plug. They are selling in Ebay between $20-$50. If you go to Asia, they can be have for $5 on the street.

The Pyrme version just tied the walkman earbud to the collar and stick a $8 clear coil earpiece to it and charge you 4 times the price.

Like I said before. There is nothing tactical about these cheap asian headsets. They are all just cheap parts sold in streets together with fake Rolex's and $5 walkmans.

i play paintball to help sharpen skills for cqb,,,, but I don't want the headsets for play, I want them for the field, thats why I am not looking at cheap sets...........

I offered up what I found on a website, nothing more, and for you to insinuate otherwise is ridiculous. I did not jack up prices, I provided the website so people could see and make choices for themselves. If I was trying to decieve someone, then I would understand the comment above, otherwise, it is listed on the website for firefighters, emt's, and police as well. I made an offer to broker a group buy, that is all. I think you need to relax, and understand that not all people have 350 dollars to buy a throat mike from blackhawk, and look for other viable alternatives..............

Now that you've been educated, do us a favor and show us where this "website" is that is selling these $120 "tactical" headsets. It sure save the rest of us from getting scam in the future.

Since when did BHI sell headsets anyways ?
