I need a better video card any suggestions

The one that came with my ASUS sux tried to play Oblivion and got tons of lag tried to play Minecraft and it's still lagging to the point it's almost impossible to control anything without being super careful and that can't be when your trying to kill enemies. I need to keep it as inexpensive as possible like around 50bux so it won't cut into my meager ammo budget. I don't need top of the line I just want to be able to play a game or two.

I would say for $50 probably a GT 520. You can find an HD 6450 for $40 and it may suit you just as well, depending.

What GPU are you using now? What are the specs of the rest of your computer? It is hard to say what may be best without knowing more.

Quad core running 2.5ghz with 8gb ram. I think it's just got a generic vid card in there so I'm hoping that replaceing it will solve the problem.

You may have video on the motherboard instead of on a separate card. Just make sure that you have the right slot available for whatever card you get and you should be fine.

Right at $50 after rebate. If I had to choose I'd take the 2nd one.
