  • I think that I accidentally flagged a post

Guys I think that I accidentally flagged a post. I was trying to respond and quote on the thread regarding the Hmong and I had a phone issue (touch screen issue)

I'm not seeing any effect on this end, and the thread opens and works fine for me. Are you able to access it?

Edited to note that I should check my email more often. I got one saying that you had reported the post, and the reason given was the text you were attempting to post.

    No harm.

I was trying to post a reply regarding my interactions with Laotian-both Hmong and Lowlanders-and somehow the " reason for report" flag came up. I have no clue either. Didn't want to jam up the works

        Heh.

        It went like this.

        "Gripper has reported a post".

        Thread data was attached.

The reason for reporting given was:

"This has been my experience with hill people in the States as well.. of all places, back when I was living in Lowell Massachusetts. A significant percentage of the Lao kids in TRG(Tiny Rascals Gang, street gang crews)were Hmong..it was funny as hell watching the Off The Boat ones cause equal amounts of aggravation to both the assimilated and first generation members who were NOMINALLY from the Same Country Of Origin, but as you already know;from Completely Different Worlds... I'd see that intramural amusement go on everywhere from when I was doing temp/day labor like Labor Ready (aka Slaver Ready)to sidewalk disagreements escalating in The Acre or Pai Lin Plaza.
A LOT of them went to temp as electronic assemblers off of 495 .. conveniently a lot of their more established friends and family just so happened to run jewelry, pawn and gold businesses...and there'd be an uptick in business whenever someone in Boxboro or Bolton couldn't account for a decent load of silver/Gold wire, other valuable metals.
I admire that kind of hustle".

If you want to paste it back up there, you can.

As noted, no damage, no harm, no foul.
