Hopefully a good place to post this. These are "CLIPS" that are used in rifles. Any more out there?
Most all caliber Stripper Clips are alike.
8mm stripper clip...8x56r Steyr M 95...8mm French Lebel...M1 Garand en bloc

A lot of people call rifle , shotgun and pistol 'magazines' (thingys that hold bullets) *clips*. There is a difference. A big one.
Shown L to R:
1: Stripper clips are for many guns and calibers. They hold the rounds together and allow insertion of more than one at a time. Originally, in war, they were discarded after after rounds were inserted.
... 2: Loaded Clip for Steyr M95 8x56 rifle. Entire clip is inserted and bolt closed on a live round. After last round is fired and bolt pulled back, clip drops out the bottom and was once discarded. Rifle was the reloaded.
3: Loaded clip for 1890 French 8mm Lebel. Same as above except trap door on bottom has to be manually opened to allow clip to fall.
4: En Bloc clip for 30/06 M1 Garand. After last round is fired, bolt retracts to rear and clip is ejected straight up out of the rifle. There is a false Urban Legend about the 'ping' the clip makes upon ejection. No....the enemy could NOT hear it and know the GI was out of ammo.
Enjoy
