  • got a question.

I got the wrong primers...I wanted small pistol and picked up small pistol for Magnum loads by accident.

Any body know if I can use them for 380 9mm and 38 sp?

I was in the mood to reload and hate to wait till next week.

I've used them, just dropped my powder charge down and worked back up from there. They do burn a bit hotter, with some powders you can get a little too much pressure, especially working with fast burning stuff with near max loads, hence starting low and going up.

      Thank you sir.
I load a bit low as rule so I shall give it a try.

        Re: got a question.

I've used them before. I wasn't quite in kARL's boat, because I bought them knowingly since I couldn't find any regular ones.

It didn't seem to make any noticeable difference in 9mm, but I was loading "range loads" anyway, which are not anywhere near maximum load when I run them.

Most of my range stuff is the Berry's bulk cast bullets with copper jackets, and if you load those very hot, you strip the jacket off of them, which doesn't do much for your accuracy.

Note: In the spirit of what I am gronching about in the sticky thread at the top of GD, I'm placing this thread in the appropriate forum.

We need to try to do that occasionally, or some of our Moderators may determine that we don't like their forums, and we all know that's not true!
