Heck I can not even find primers and powder anywhere. Everyone is out of stock/backordered. Sheesh

Yeah I did too but never anticipated everything being taken while I was in a hospital. Pretty well cleaned me out...guns, ammo, loading equipment and supplies, knives. you name it they ran off with it. Just glad they left the house and my old mutt.

Well, I would say that the obvious answer is to reload. But the same panic buying/hoarding has also affected availability of reloading supplies. And the price gouging! One place finally got some primers in. Before the drying up, they were on sale for $17/100. This Bozo was charging $70/100.....AND GETTING IT! We are half the problem by buying the crap at the vastly inflated prices. Fortunately I remembered the same thing happening when Obummer was FIRST elected, and refilled everything last November because I figured a repeat if he was re-elected!

Stopped by Wal-Mart today, like WM or not they do sell ammo at real prices, not at the Obuma inflated rate. 9mm cheapo fmj is now over 15 bucks per 50, .40 SW 180 fmj is 20 bucks and worst of all...plain old Federal 115 jhp (the ancient 9BP load) had the price of TWENTY ONE BUCKS for just 20 rounds!!! Folks when Wally Mart charges prices like this, we are in real trouble! In the years BO, 9mm fmj was about six bucks, any of the Federal, Winchester, Remington 9mm hp's were about 12 bucks per FIFTY, not this dollar a shot 20 round box crap. Metal prices aint high enough to justify prices being charged.
