Scored Black Talons!!!
I just scored some 9mm Black Talons $40 a box of 50. Not as good as back in the day but pretty good these days. I also got some Gold Dot for $20 a box of 50. I could probably do better on line but I didn't have to worry about shipping or taxes so what the heck. I certainly can't beat the deal around here in communist territory.

I didn't realize that either BT or GD came in boxes of 50... mine are 20- or 25rnd boxes. I still have my original stash of BT in both 9mm and .357Mag, bought before they were declared 'evil'

It's old law enforcement ammo that a cop was getting rid of because his dept. went to .40 S&W. He was just dumping it and I was glad to to take it off his hands. I guess the cops get bigger boxes than the rest of us.To be born free is a privilage, to die free is a responsibility!!Comment

If you'll look, the WW Ranger bullet is the same as the Talon without the black stuff and "claws" that really didn't add much to its effectiveness anyhow. The Gold Dot for $20 would have got me interested real quick. Best price before shipping I've seen is 27 bucks per 50."some people never let their given word interfere if something they want comes along"
