Fiocchi, used it in my .380 and the pistol loved it.
Plus the brass is very good for reloading.

I have about 1300 rounds of S&B 115 grainers, and 1000 rounds of PPU 124 s....either work fine in my Gen 2 Glock17....I would like a source of hottish 124-147 grain FMJs though.Every so often you see Winchester Ranger 124 grn ball- supposed to approximate NATO spec stuff- but its been a while since I shot any.

I bought some of this Hirtenburger back in '02 or '03. VERY hot stuff. I can't remember where I got it, but if someone mentioned the name of one of the major mail order companies I'd probably remember. Might have been CDNN.

I have only three boxes. I wish I'd bought more. IIRC it was around $6 a box back then.

I only use this in the P99. I don't know if I'd feed a steady diet of this stuff to an aluminum frame.

I have never tried Prvi Partizan, but I have shot up quite a bit of S&B and Fiocchi and they have always been top drawer ammo as far as I am concerned.

Re: Fiocchi, Sellier & Bellot, Privi Partisan 9mm ammo

Privi made me a bit nervous at first, being kind'a new and all, but I've gotten a lot fonder of it the more I shoot of it.

Fiocchi, as I previously noted, is top shelf reliability. Velocity is mildly hot to average, usually, but they have good brass.

S&B shoots good, but their brass is really crappy for reloading.

BTW, I saw a link today saying that Norma is going to open a distributorship and perhaps even a production plant here in the States.

Ammo production is good. Ammo production in the States is even better. As long as their brass holds up as well as the Swedish version does, I'm going to be a fan.

For the record. I buy loaded pistol ammo, and most of my loaded rifle ammo based on the re-usability of the brass. I'd rather roll my own, but sometimes it's just easier to buy it already loaded...or equally cheap, which means that I get the brass, and can spend my time reloading something else that I can also use.

That's my sole actual gripe with Seller and Beloit. Their brass has a really bad track record in reloaded ammo.

I've blasted off about 500 rounds of Privi 6.5x55 Swede out of my Gustaf and it's been great! No FTF or anything strange. Pretty accurate too.
