  • Passing along a "good" 5.56mm deal

"Good" price is relative, but just picked up a case of 1,200 rds of IMI M193 from Widener's. It was $330 shipped. Compared to any other brass-cased ammo I could find, I think I got an extra 200 rounds for free. I saw some Prvi partisan & PMC for about $330/1,000.

I ordered it Sunday night, got the UPS ship notification Mon morning, & delivery on Tues. They're only 150 miles away so I didn't expect delivery to take very long, but I still thought that was pretty fast.

Will shoot ~400 rounds next week & see how it does. I'm sure it will be every bit as good as XM193 or Q3131A. Plus my reloading uncle will be happy to get the brass

Ended up only shooting 210 rds. Ran fine & no complaints.

Thought I would bump this thread back to the top. Kudos to anyone that bought in at that price ($330/1200), as now its nowhere to be found. I grabbed a few cases of Privi M193 about a year ago at $287/1000 and have been thanking myself I did that. However, I don't shoot much 55gr stuff these days as I tend to favor the 75gr Privi for its longer range accuracy.
