Q4338 is the number. Anyone heard of this stuff? Wondering what the military used it for. $7.99 a box, so it is not cheap...or, is it?

No idea Yoda. It is listed for sale at Williams Shooters Supply...and the ad lists it as Q4338, 9mm +P 90 grain, frangible, 50 rds per box, 20 boxes per metal ammo can, 2 metal ammo cans per wooden crate.....looks like the wooden crate says MK 254 Mod 8? or 0?

It is Winchester and the ad shows lot number, but I cannot read it.
