  • Ammoman.com High-Decibel Bang ammo (12ga)

Anyone tried out or familiar with the 12ga BANG ammo that Ammoman is selling here:
    http://www.ammoman.com/images/FLHDB21-1.jpg
    ??
i am wondering if it produces the bang right out of the muzzle, or if it launches a little packet that makes the noise some distance away, or after striking a hard surface?

    Anyone know?

Now that the Bird Bombs are banned by the feds, I was wondering if this is a substitute or a different tool altogether.
    Thanks,
    C-

And the home page just in case: www.ammoman.com

      Same questions.

Since the ads indicate "just noise" I think I'd have to believe that there is no projectile of any kind involved, that the shell is just a super-loud blank and not something of a "bird bomb" nature.

Judging by the size, it looks like a muzzle-blast round that just produces a high-decibel output. In plain english, a loud blank. We've dealt with 12 Gauge Flashbang rounds and Air Bomb rounds from a certain manufacturer, and we were less than impressed with performance and reliability. The applications for these 12 gauge rounds are limited, and while the Air Bomb rounds have it's place in Law Enforcement, we have yet to find one that is consistantly reliable.
