mini-30?????

I have been a mini-14 owner since 1986. Just got my first mini-30! Icould'nt pass up a never fired SS w/ synthetic stock, for 350.00 .are there high caps available ?Has any one had any problems ? I need some input!!!

All the hi-caps are junk, at least the ones I have used. Have had best results with .308 bullets an AA1680 powder. I would gladly pay $20.00 for a decent 20 round magazine.

Thanx for the Facts 390ish. did Ruger ever make high caps for the 30? the 20 rndr. I have just looks like an AK mag w/the heavy steel feed lips taken off. ever heard of converting ak mags?

The Mini 30 was intended to be a sporter/hunting rifle. No factory hi-cap mags were ever offered.

I had a few USA mags that actually worked great in my Mini30... Try one, you may get lucky too!
