I was about to ask if Beta made a feed tower for the Mini.

Don't think it's a factory option from Beta but several people were converting factory Ruger Mag into a tower for the Beta. Price was around $150 for the tower conversion for your Beta as I recall.
$90 a piece starting price?
Beta body not included?
Ouch!

Well you could twist on Beta to do a tower to replace the existing AR tower on their body but from my understanding they are shipping what they can to military and LEO and don't really care about what the civilians want - bunch of FAL's wanted 7.62 drum for their toys and were told by beta they weren't interested.
Actually depending upon what parts were used to make it (starting with new ruger 30 round LEO mag?) and machine/machinest/welder time involved for non-production line one of a kind hand crafted item that's not totally unreasonable.
Just my .02
Mini-14 barrels are not chrome plated and as such will erode much more quickly from the high speed rounds. In addition I see distortion and horrible accuracy if used with a drum as they are not fluted nor made of special steel to resist high heat which they will surely see, it's bad enough with 40 rounders...

Original M16 barrels weren't chromed either - Fluting while adding surface area to dispurse heat build up will not guarrenty nondistortion - accuracy is relative to begin with - erosion is always evident in high volume fire but that's what the 3 round burst mode is for 8^)

So what! Burn it out and Ruger will fix it. The Mini was never a match grade rifle anyway. If high volumes of ammunition or high rates of fire are your thing then go for it. I have put several thousand rounds through my AC556, most on full auto, and have noticed very little or no change in accuracy. Now I don't shoot mag after mag after mag but I do heat it up. As I said it was never a tack driver anyway and if accuracy begins to suffer to bad I'll just send it back to Ruger for a tune up. Life if short, have fun!
By the way, the Beta although not 100% reliable(they are close) is way ahead of the MWG drums. The Betas work, look and balance much better than the MWG's.
