  • Fn FAL kit price?

So I bought 3 G1 kits way back when. Built two on Imbel uppers so have one kit left. Two are more then enough for me. LOL What is a reasonable fair price to ask for this?

Also aside from here where would be a place to put this up for sale?

I have no clue about pricing, but Gunbroker is probably a really good place to list it.

If you could list it on Ebay, that'd be awesome, because the idiots there will overpay for stuff more often than not. Sadly, however, Ebay won't let you sell it there. Gunbroker's prices usually don't wind up being bargains, but you don't generally get people bidding things ludicrously high because they don't know what they are worth, either. Get decent pictures and you'll normally fall right about the average price for whatever it is you are selling, give or take 10%.

    Edited to add: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/794306457

There are listings there asking more, but they don't seem to be getting any bids at $500 and up.

      Thanks Jeff

Will give that a shot once I get some decent pics taken.

My approach to Gunbroker has always been this:

        1. Start the bidding at the minimum you feel you have to get for it. If you paid $200 for it, start it at $200. You will come out ahead, at worst.

        2. Put a "Buy it Now" price on it that would make you really happy. For a $200 kit, that might be $500. Put that on there too.

Usually, when the bids get up to $350 or so, someone will jump on the Buy it Now option.

Your margins may be $400 and $700, or whatever, but if you paid what I think you paid for those, you are well ahead of inflation at $500 or thereabouts. Note that I don't need or want one, so I'm not telling you to list it here and I'll offer you $250 for it.
