Scope on Swiss K-31 ?

Why yes, there are.
You can get a really nice no-drill mount for them that's made by Swiss Products, which is owned by folks you may have made the acquaintance of around here back in the past.
I thought Graf carried them, but didn't find them on a fast run through their site. Check out the Swiss Rifle Forums and you will pretty surely be able to track one down.
Just to note, I have one, and it works quite nicely.Alle Kunst ist umsunst Wenn ein Engel auf das Zundloch brunzet (All skill is in vain if an angel pisses down the touch-hole of your musket.) Old German Folk Wisdom.

Class act, there, and you can take that to the bank. They aren't "cheap", but you get what you pay for, every time.

Re: Scope on Swiss K-31 ?
I opted for a scout scope mount. There was a gent over on the swiss rifle forums that manufactured them intermittently. I didn't like the offset on the receiver mounts. It changes the downrange dope in 2 dimensions. The K-31 ejects the spent case straight up necessitating the offset mount to forestall jams. I have a Hi-Lux 2.5-7X intermediate eye relief that is mounted just forward of the ejection path. It works great even with these old eyes.

Re: Scope on Swiss K-31 ?
Just a note regarding the K-31's. If you are reloading for it, don't expect serious performance from it with odd bullet weights. I keep hearing people on the net say that they loaded it with 130 grain bullets or some such, and it wouldn't hold a zero.
The rifle is built for 167g bullets, (IIRC) and it won't do well with odd weight loadings. If you want something that will shoot a 130g bullet or a .225g bullet or some such, get yourself a 30-06. The 7.5 Swiss is only going to shoot well with the right bullets, and the right loads.
Set your scope with GP-11, and then load to hit where it does, and you will do well. If you don't do that, you might not be as impressed with the K-31's as I am.

Re: Scope on Swiss K-31 ?
None of that is right Jagdkampf. My Dad owns Swissproductsllc.com and the mount puts you 5/8 to the right of a 1" paster at 100 yards. If you aim at the left edge of the paster you are dead center. That 5/8" is the same at 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 yards....... and the k31 WILL go to 1,000 yards. The k31 holds the Guiness world record for that class of rifle with open sights at 1,000 yards. My Dad's friend Ernie did the shooting with reloaded cartridges and the 190gr bullet.1911sr :)
