    How well does powdercoat hold up as a firearms finish compared to other "finishes"?

    It holds up alot better than teflon and oven cured urethanes but not as good as hard chrome. The only problem with powder is that you cannot do the internals or any area where dimensions are critical. You also have to be careful not to fill in whatever is stamped on the outside like the serial #.

      i will let you know next week. i just had my barrel/receiver and lower on a fn done. looks nice.
      i have had teflon done before www.bearcoat.com and it reall made a difference performance wise. this powdercoating i did mainly for looks. and besides had some left over from doing mc parts.
