  • Another Question About Maverick

I've got an early Maverick 12 gauge (single action bar) that I acquired cheaply. It has a barrel cut off to 18" with a rib. The front bead was relocated to the end of the rib, which stops about 0.5 inches in back of the muzzle.

My problem is that the high comb on the plastic stock whacks my fat face much harder than I would like. Is there an easy way to change the angle of the stock or raise the sight line?

    Thanks.

Yeah, change it out to one of those folding stocks, gives you face a bit more room.

Mossberg sells stock drop spacers to change the stock angle.

They also sell a Dual Comb stock that adjusts:
