  • 5.56mm O.C.C. (Offensive Compact Carbine), 9.25" gas piston upper/rifle

Here's some spec's / information on our shortest gas piston system.
It's the same weight and lenght of the MP-5 with alot more punch!

    O.C.C. (Offensive Compact Carbine) SPECIFICATION:
    Barrel:
    • 9.25” Heavy contour, Fluted to reduce weight and Heat
    • 4150 Mil-B-1159F Vanadium Alloy (mil-spec, machinegun rated)
    • Chrome Lined, and Manganese phosphate
    • 5 groove (“5R” Polygonal), right-handed 1x7 twist, button rifled (Rock Creek Barrel Blank)
    • Vortec, A2, or Krink Flash hiders
    • P4 cut barrel extentsion

    Chamber:
    • 5.56mm Nato (.223 Cal.)

    Method of Operation:
    • Gas Piston operated, rotating bolt (short stroke gas piston system)
    • Reversable gas piston / gas trap design (two modes of fire)
    • C.R.O.S. (Corrosion Resistant Operating System)

(Chrome plated: Barrel, Gas Block/Tube, Gas Plug, Gas Piston, Bolt Carrier Assembly)

    Bolt & Carrier:
    • Chrome plated 8620 steel bolt carrier, heat treated / plated per Mil Spec.
    • Chrome plated steel bolt, heat treated, to Mil-spec

    Sights:
    • Fixed removable A2 front sight assembly

    Upper Receiver:
    • A3 Flattop, Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy
    • Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon coated black
    • P4 feed ramp cuts in receiver

    Lower Receiver:
    • Forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy
    • Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon coated black
    • Semi-auto trigger and Full-auto (LEO/Military Only)
    • Ambi-selector

    Stock:
    • Retractable 6 position stock (mil-spec tube)

Here are our results when chrono testing our O.C.C. gas piston 9.25".
The barrel used was a Rock Creek 1:7 4150 Vanadium barrel blank.
The "5R" rifling should increase to about 2400 FPS avg. per Mike Rock.
We will chrono test to validate soon.

Stupid question if I get a 300 whisper barrel can it be used on your piston upper?

And would it make more loud noise as it's tapping high pressure gas to drive the piston then dumping it into the atmosphere...or does it have a gas cutoff to keep un-needed gas from escaping ie weapon noise that the suppressor can't eliminate...

And yes good photography and nice subjects too.

so we can talk about your 300 whisper project.
We have a gas trap piston design like the M60/M14. But our gas piston is reversable and has two mode of fire. The gas piston uppers work great with suppressors. You my want to contact Mike Brown of Jet Suppressors at www.jetsuppressors.com
He has beed using our gas piston system with uppers for over a year, and has our 9.25" gas piston upper using his suppressor. Hope this info. helps.

now lets see one with an M900, an Aimpoint, and an AN/PEQ-2. That would look really compact!
