• New FN tactical shotgun--PIC

We just got in one of the new FN shotguns and they are cool. Here are the specs:

Brand new FN 12 tactical shotgun features a 4 position M4 stock, A2 sights and pistol grip, 18" back bored and ported barrel, 8shot tube, winter trigger guard and picatinny accessory rail. Chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells.

We will have them up for sale for anyone who is interested.

Looks painful.

OOoohhhhh....pretty!!!!

Probably not CA legal though.

That looks like a Mossberg front slide and mag cap.

They are $675. I don't know about being CA legal. But we can look at is this way; it looks cool, so it must not be available there.

The shotgun is basically just a Winchester 1300 all decked out.

i read an artical about this model a couple years
ago - it was more of standard configured shotgun
with a lower siteline/rail.

i just cant dig it like this , any of the original
models available ?

I think it will be legal in Kalistand as long as it is a pump action.

Yeah, that does look painful. Can it be purchased without that M4 telestock?

CMMG: Let me know when they have it available as a Semi with an 8-rd mag!

That's about all I'm missing in the shotgun rack - a high-cap semi that doesn't cost as much as a Benelli Super Eagle!

when i saw the article , the pump model had this
sighting arrangment ;

http://www.fnhusa.com/contents/sg_selfloading.htm

the link gets you to fn usa .

i like the standard model , as its a coppy of my
favorite shotgun ,with steel triggerguard ,and
parkerized finish . you can order a steel trig.gu
ard from winchester , if you allready have a 1300.
(about $130), but i've never seen a broken plastic
guard ,and dont plan on useing my shogun as a
battering ram . though i suppose you could fall on
it just right and break it .
in my opinion the most likly thing to put it out
of action is a dented/bent mag tube , and as yet ,no
one addreses this .
the only shotgun i've seen knocked out of action
took a round through the reciever .

Just took a look at the pic of the new FN shotgun...
It looks like someone with a little extra time was playing around with photoshop to me!

What is the purpose of an A2 sight that is designed for long range shooting on a shotgun? I'd like to see someone shoot a slug 300 meters and hit a man sized target Even the limited vis./100-200 sight is pushing it.

As for the M4 stock...ouch!

Is this thing real or what? If it is, I'd be very suprised.

my wife co-oped mine and the 12.5" youth wood i

Hmm with the relationship between "FN" and "Mossberg" these days, I am sure some boys are smiling all the way to the bank about this one instead of coming up with just another rendition of the 590.

Looks like a Winchester 1300 mixed with some A.R.
Cool looks to me.
