Has anyone tried one of these? I'm interested in a same-caliber companion for my Beretta 92FS. TIA

The SUB 2000 that uses Beretta mags IS on the market. Several of my distributers have them.

3 dozen pics
I sure like my glock-fed one. Just avoid the Scherer mags (pure crap)

Well, I do need to take back my previous post. I was at my local gun show on Saturday morning and saw a very nice Sub 2000 that took Beretta 92 mags. Well, the price was $349.00 and I talked the dealer down to $300.00 cash plus $15.00 tax. Not sure if that was a good deal or not, but after shooting it I am very happy. Only had a chance to run through 60 rounds of 115 grain JHP when I got home from the show, gun functioned flawlessly and there was no need to adjust the sights.
Very happy, Britton.

Does the cocking handle still reciporcate back and forth on these things? I'm thinking of getting one of these as my primary carry piece is a beretta. I also have access to several 20 rounders that will work in both. What Will You Do Without Freedom? Will You Fight? Fight and You May Die.Run and You Will Live, At Least a While. Nah... the Cx4 looks like a space-raygun and doesn't fold... not nearly the 'neato' factor of the keltechKilling for the sake of honor is no longer allowed in our decadent society
– more\'s the pity, as it would greatly improve manners.
- - - - -
Airplane Pictures
Cranky Labs Image Repository
A Human Right
Oleg Volk Photography
- - - - -
I\'m Amish Bill, and I approved this message.

The Kel-Tec (sub 2000) is far to difficult to service. Any work that reqires the reciever to be split is a pain. There are to many points that must be aligned when you reassemble them and the sear spring and safety detent are a pain in the a$$ on reassembly. I've never seen one that did'nt have a very heavy trigger pull. Their nice plinkers. I have one that takes the S&W 5900 series mags and it's dependable enough just far to difficult to completely strip and reassemble.
