  • I'm worried about myself, I have this sickness...

    For some reason I seem to be addicted to short barrel pump action shotguns, its so bad I just bought two Smith 3000 police trade-ins for $150 each. This wouldn't be that bad except I already have at least six more! Even worse, I know that for the right price I'll buy more. ??

    Well, maybe I have an idea that might help,(or make worse), your addiction to 12ga's...
    Hunt yourself up one that accepts a longer, rifled bbl and start shooting sabots. They're a bit more expensive, the recoil is a touch more noticable, the damage down-range on so many different types of targets is simply awso... oh, maybe you should just forget that I even mentioned it... (I just don't think I'm helping you out of your addiction much here).

        It never hurts to have enough to pass out to the neighbors if needed or to put one by every window and door :>}

            Ha! I lost the wife several years ago, how else could I ever buy guns?

              I have space in my safe for any overflow. I know what you mean. My wife refers to me as a collecter of semi- presous metal.

                I think those custom Saigas are the king **** right now. A lot of them are done in pretty slick configurations and there are so many good ways to fix one up that owning just one would be nowhere near enough.

                I can see how a collection would not be entirely complete without a Rico Tubbs Ithaca 37 shorty, but if I remember correctly, that thing as so stubby it only held three shots and then he had to switch to his revolver.

                Officially speaking of course, I have no personal experience with short shotguns, honest...

                  I always wanted a 20 guage Ithica Stakeout but couldn't see paying the asking price for just a whacked off pump shotgun.
