M4 stock on a Mossberg 500/590

I was considering purchasing one of those Blackhawk M4 stocks for my Mossberg 500. I have heard that the angle of the M4 stock when installed on a mossberg 500/590 prevents the user from being able to sight down the barrel for a normal sight picture. Anybody put one of these stocks on your shotgun?

I have fired an 870 with the Knoxx recoil reducing M4 stock, and I really liked it. I have heard that when you place the same type stock on a 500, the angle is a little different, and you can no longer sight down the barrel properly, unless you have installed higher profile sights like a red dot type sight.
