As above, unless you buy used, you won't get much for $200.
One possible exception, depending on the pricing, are the Chinese "clones" of the Remington 870.
Some people report that these make very good shooters, but are not up to American standards of fit or finish.
Some, but not all 870 accessories will usually fit the Chinese guns.
These are/were imported by a number of importers.
New England Arms imports one that has a "humped" receiver to make it look different from the other 870 clones.
Internally, it's just another 870 copy like the others.
I have a Mossberg 500 Persuader/Cruiser pump shotgun with pistolgrip I paid $180 for it. 20" Barrel, 8 shot, barrel has a heat shield and is parkerized finish. If you want a regular stock you can get them. They used to have some that came with regular stock and pistolgrip kit together.
Academy Sports, a sporting goods chain, has Maverick 88 pump shotguns for around $150. Other than the safety being located on the trigger guard as opposed to being on the rear of the receiver, these are the same as a Mossberg 500. NOT a "tactical" model but cutting the barrel back to 18" will give you a six shot weapon that will get the job done, all we really require from a shotgun. Like my rifles, I don't add many of the tacticooll accessories to my shotguns, all I need is a good reliable shooter.
The Charles Daly guns are actually pretty good. I think under "old pricing" you could get a Saiga in that price range. My opinion, get the 20G Saiga. You will spend some money getting "grey market" hicap (10 shot) mags, but they have a lot of good potential, and are really not half bad out of the box, if you can find some better mags.
Also have seen some good things on the Chinese 870 knockoffs, and I think you can find them comfortably under $200. A little home gunsmith work will solve the fit & finish problem.
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of those who threaten them.
Look at the used market. I picked up this used 12 Ga Mossberg 500 from a friend and paid less than $200.
It might not be all that 'tactical', but it sure is practical.

Find yourself a used 870....I have the pistol grip mav 88 and it works well. good luck
OH if your looking for mags for the Saiga 12 or 410 look in the shotgun forum for my post.

Ive seen some of the Charles Daly shot guns and actually for the price of 275.00 here in the Tampa,Florida area its not a bad deal but as always you get what you pay for/cheap home defense shot gun I think its a great deal to add to any home defense plan.

Reason: mis/spelling
Charles Dalys are cheep in price and their quality can be "iffy".
They are made anywhere/ any country they can build them in.
I have their standard semi auto 12 Ga for duck hunting. After 3 days of hunting the gun broke (I did buy it used but it wasn't broken there).
The parts that broke was 2 aluminum tabs that attach the bolt to the gas system. 2 TINY tabs.
I ground the nubs down and replaced it with 2 steel pins.
BUT I do love the ability to shoot 6 buckshot as fast as I can.... Its my street sweeper...

Personally I'd save a little and pick up a decent pump. Either the 870 or you can get into a Benelli Pump for about 320.00 if you shop around. They are super fine pumps.
