I've heard and even fired a number of "Over/Unders", but these were the traditional single bbl shotgun with the single bbl rifle cal below. Such as the 12ga/45lc or 45-70, or the famous 410/22lr. I can't say I've ever heard of the double bbl,(side by side) shotgun with a third rifle or pistol cal bbl below,(but then, just because I haven't heard of it, doesn't mean one might not exist).
Gentlemen, your quest for the answer gladdens my heart.
This question was posed to me by a jail inmate in my charge, and though I'd never heard of it, I wanted to give it a go......since Inmate knows EVERYTHING except how to avoid jail time.
HehHeh...thanks

i couldnt remember the name of them but now that i read the thread, wayne is right, they are drillings. my father told me that they are made in germany were the law permits only one gun per person...a little limiting if you are a hunter...so they concocted this little toy.
I don't think this is what you had in mind but imagine using a Double barrel shotgun with a rail on the underside and a 9mm pistol with a top rail. An adapter to fit them together and you now have a unique close quaters weapon system.
The pistol by extension of the shotgun now has a buttstock for additional control and stability. A large capacity magazine for 9mm and whatever load you deem appropriate for the shotgun and you are ready to rock and roll!
i think i would like one in 12 gauge with a .308 under it!!!!
i mean 12 gauge because its so common, and well same for the .308!
throw a scope on it for the .308 but keep iron sights too! and give it a hallow in the stock for extra rounds cleaning gear etc! call it the **** happens gun lol
