I am still living in Okinawa so all I know about the current Zombie Apocalypse is the BS I see on the news and on propaganda radio. Back home I have plenty of stuff for the end of the world yet here I am watching Americans acting a fool on base, making a run on things at the commissary while life off base is business as usual. What are the current trends? Buy anything you can get? The last time I was in, ARs were dirt cheap and not selling even at blue light special pricing. Ammo was okay but it was available (Wal Mart was divesting in pistol ammo so I loaded up on 9mm and .380). How are things going now? Are the lines wrapped around the gun shops like they show on the news or is than regional or just hype?

Since this Woohan Flu I (and everybody else in my company through out the USA )have been temporarily fired, so I haven't been out much since the income has stopped.
There were lines at some gun shops in some states. There probably are still lines since now there are max limits on people allowed in stores to about 10.
I have not been to any shops because I have "enough" guns and ammo. I never even gave it a thought until about 3 weeks in that I wasn't worried about ammo.
I have made 2-3 runs on food. I usually only eat 2 meals, late breakfast (9) and late lunch (3) which is bought at stores, and now I'm home eating 2-3 meals so I need SO much more food... I'm also probably getting fat, because I'm moving all day working, now I'm a potato.
People are still doing runs on food. TP and paper towels, flower (suddenly everybody is baking) yeast, canned soups are always thin. Some times frozen pizza is wiped out other times its normal. Frozen veggies are wiped out yet canned are usually fine. Baked beans and chili are always thin or cleaned out.
BISHOPThe rusty wire, that holds the cork, that keeps the anger in, gives way...

I just spoke to a friend I was in the Army with. He has a small shop and puts together a really nice AK. He said he is down to five guns in stock. The last time I visited in the fall, his vault was well stocked.
