It would be cool for the price. $500 Canadian is like $350 bucks....

But I don't see Norinco ever being allowed to sell in the USA again. So it's a moot point.

Eventually, you might could get one.

IIRC, if it's been out of the country of origin for a certain number of years, (somewhere between 25 and 50, I disremember exactly) you can import it into the U.S. assuming that it's otherwise a legal configuration. Such being the case, you could get one in from Canada if it's old enough and you jump through all the hoops. Difficult, but it can be done if you want to sink enough time and money into it and the clock has run out.
