Okay, back from the anniversary trip so you can safely post it now.

Ok. I've got another Chapter almost ready. I have to review a couple of things for timeline, and another couple of things for other things, but it should be up sometime this week. Probably Saturday.

I just found this story. What an excellent body of work! I've really enjoyed reading it. I do hope you can get back to it some time.

    Thank you.

    Re: Comments for "The Ambassador"

Life and work (60-70 Hr/Wk) keep intervening on me.

Beyond that, I've trashed 20K words or so because it didn't fit right. I keep taking off at tangents without tying it all together, and don't like the way it heads off to, because I'd wind up ending it without it being readable.

I'm trying to wrap this one up and get into Volume 2, which is where things really start happening, but I need a good wrap up, and a good start to the next situation. And that's what's holding me up.

We're trying to get the Station built, the Earth straightened out, and go off to do bigger and different things. So far, I keep screwing the ending of part I up.

I may just bite the bullet and chop it off hard in one or two Chapters, if nothing better shows up.

But there won't be nearly as much Terrestrial Politics in the Second Volume, unless I can find a better hook than I have to date.

No. It's the author's fault. He went off on a tangent again, and couldn't keep the story going from that angle. So I am rewriting the next two chapters.

Note that I don't claim that my story makes a lot of sense, but it at least was coherent. I'm not going to compromise that part any more than I have to.

I refer you to "Waiting for Godot" for your answer. "Patience. He's coming."

Eventually, and not as long as they waited for Godot. Maybe this Tuesday or Wednesday, if I get busy.
