It's been slow going here lately, what with one thing and the next interrupting me every time I try to get going on it again.
It shouldn't be long, though. I'm supposed to be laid off about half the time in November and December, and I'll be looking for something to do. I somehow suspect that there will be a lot of key beating going on then. And I am making progress even now, although not as much as I'd like to.
OK. It's been a fairly crappy month, all things considered, but I'm back on the keyboard. Further installments are forthcoming in the fairly near future.
I've got most all of my honeydo list done already, and plan to spend a good while tomorrow beating keys. It's still fun, so I'm still writing it.
Just to note, I have not stopped writing the thing.
I have stopped writing much....The last couple of weeks have been busy. I'm hoping to get back in the groove tomorrow, and to have another chapter up by Monday or Tuesday.
The grass is cut, the honeydo's are done, and I may actually get a few hours to do my thing with the keyboard tomorrow. I'm hoping.
Unless I don't get the chance, Stuff does happen. I'm trying, though.
Recall that I'm keeping a chapter in reserve. Ch. 20 was written when I posted Ch. 19.
That's all I'm saying about it, but with any luck, I'll get Ch. 20 posted tomorrow evening. It depends on how long it takes me to get the yard mowed, and if I can get this stupid cat to quit helping me write.
Wow Jefferson, I don't think I have laughed so hard in ages. Oh, don't have Miss Rover eat the reporters, don't want to poison the poor dog. LOL, More Sir, More!
Good story so far, but need more. Can't wait to see the wife's reaction to Jefferson's new job.
We'll be getting to that part eventually. As I commented a while back, I actually had an outline for this thing, but it took off at a tangent on me.
It's been writing itself pretty much, which is good. I just sit down at the keyboard and it kind of keeps rolling on, but that method does not lend itself to sticking to my outline. If I were doing this professionally, that would be a bad thing, but since I'm just entertaining myself (and hopefully some other folks) with it?
It's going somewhere, which is a lot better than the results I was getting when I was bound and determined to stick to the outline and sat and stared at the screen for a couple of hours, typed fifty words, and got up and left.
I'm about to get back on the rails with the outline, though, so by Chapter 22 or so, we'll have some developments.
