I was given a Turkish 1888 mauser by my dads boss when I was 13.The first gun I bought was a norinco SKS outfitted by the unknowing gun shop with a folding stock and detachable 30 round magazine,with spike bayonet intact of course.To heck with sec.922 that thing was COOL!!! 4 more of my friends went to the same shop and got their own for $199+tax.
We were a squad of trash but we damn sure though we were the shi*.We were clueless that our rifles were in violation of federal law(and I think the dealer was too,he assembled them in house with parts from a tapco catalog) but those SKS`s got us all started on the black rifle game and we all graduated to legal AR-15`s,AK`s and .308 tactical rifles.I traded that SKS and an old egyptian helwan pistol+ the 1888 mauser for an old international harvester pick up that carried me through my bachelorhood in style.

My first gun was an H&K USP .40 compact I bought myself for my 21st B-day. This was follwed closely later by a Bushmaster M-4gery. These are still probably the last two I would ever get rid of.

The first gun I bought was a Smith & Wesson 12ga pump. Let's see, that was back in 79'. I still have that shotgun too, hard to let go of your 1st love. Oh, I had others that were given to me before I was old enough to buy my first. Matter of fact, I still have my very first gun my Dad gave me when I was 11, now my son has it, it was his first too.

First gun was a Sears & Roebuck .22 rifle. Father gave it to me when I was a kid. First handgun was also my fathers, Colt Frontier Scout in .22 caliber. First gun I bought myself was a Mossberg 500 12ga.

1st pistol bought = .45 Colt Officer's ACP (Sold it, never should have)

1st rifle bought = Rem m700 .30-06' w/ weaver 3x9 scope (Still own it, getting ready to write another chapter in its pages on Mr. PA whitetail buck with it on monday!!!!!)

My first rifle was a Rossi lever action (Model 96 I think) in .357 Mag. that I got when I was fourteen. It was a lot of fun until I discovered the thrill of military-styled semi autos which resulted in my first AKM at age 16! I've never looked back since!!!!!
