Default Parker-Hale

I've run into a guy who wants to trade me a Parker Hale m81 Classic in 270 WIN for my Savage 320. I have $100 in the 320, and the Hale in good shape is more than worth it. This m81 has three issues. 1. The Bolt stop has been spot welded but can't tell why. It is intact and functional. 2. The spring for the bolt stop is the wrong spring and should be replaced. 3. The exterior of the bolt has some
Light pitting. I think it will polish out. Any thoughts on parts? Numrich has nothing.

Lastly... I have tricipital tendinitis in my right arm; arthritis in my right shoulder as well as two bone spurs in my right shoulder. What is a 270 going to do to me? How about mercury recoil reducers or having the barrel ported? How can I reduce recoil so I don't die?
