Smile I made a comment the other day that I ought to share.

I was discussing my relatively recent heart issues with someone at work.

They asked me straight up "Doesn't it bother you that you almost died?"

My reply was totally un-thought about.

"I can't get to where I'm going until I leave where I'm at."

So, there's that......

I am not in any rush to leave, but when I do? I'm assured that I'll wind up in a much better place. I am taking that at face value, and refuse to get all upset about it.

I'm more worried about lasting long enough to leave my wife decently well off than anything else.

Had about the same thing asked of me, told them almost dying don't bother me, its when I finally do kick off that I may need to be concerned. God for sure knows I ain't always lived my life in a Saintly manner.
