I am working up a trade with another person.
What is the trade? Little used Bushmaster AR15 M4 Model XM15-E2S with 1 PMAG30 for a SA58 FAL Type 3 Imbel lower with DSA type 1 upper,21 inch Argentine barrel, DSA scope mount and 4 surplus magazines. Which is the better deal? |

The FAL setup is worth almost twice as much as the bushmaster.
If you don't want it let me know, I'll make that trade and give you a $50 broker's fee. |

Take it before he changes his mind. That one is a no-brainer.

Used near new Bushmaster = $800.
Used FAL mixmaster = $850-950'ish + scope mount ($75-$100 new). Magazines are a non-issue in both cases. Commonality of the AR tips the balance even more in favor of the FAL. My personal choice is the FAL. Argentine barrels are good quality. DSA receivers are good quality. Imbel lower frame is good stuff, but they all are IMO. We set up a time to exchange rifles and shortly thereafter I get an email that he got a good offer to sell the rifle - told me he really needed the money. I really was looking forward to a FAL.

Sounds like the AH's here in Arkansas, welching on deals, not showing up for FTF trades, lying about the condition of their guns, asking pawnshop prices, etc. We have a site specifically for selling here, I have been screwed there so many times I no longer even see whats available.
