I would definately be interested in one, as long as:

-There are a decent number of believable testimonials as to the product's effectiveness
      -the cost is reasonable

        Re: Accu Strut

A freind of mine showed me his version, says it`s well worth the $20 investment. Basically a pair of the UTG tri-rail barrel clamps and a length of aluminum rod between the two.....

        Might be worth a try.

              Re: Accu Strut

I broke down and bought a couple of tri rail clamps. Now I just have to aquire a piece of round stock and I'm set.

I doubt I'll even notice a difference since all I use my mini for is plinking, bit I'll know it's there anyway.

Davebob, if you're interested in doing this, go to the accu-strut website in the first post and picture that set up with a couple of UTG tri rail clamps and a piece of round stock. I've been thinking about it for a while and remember the set up on that dead link, but it's that simple.

I got my clamps at Amazon, but they can be had elsewhere.

                  Re: Accu Strut

I've been looking for accurizing the mini-14, anyone actually get the accustrut and did it improve the groups?

                  Accu-strut also mentioned here favorably:
                  http://www.survivalistboards.com/sho...d.php?t=338442

I head about a mount mentioned above here:
                  http://www.thesurvivalistblog.net/ac...hit-bulls-eye/

                  with the product here:
                  http://www.combathunting.com/SKS_RIF...nt_2_Slot.html

I guess even though it was suited for an AK/SKS, I assume the writer is implying it will fit on a Mini-14.

The AccuStrut seems similar to the Mo-rod, any diff?:
