I've owned Leupold scopes for 30 years, have yet to be disappointed with the first one. I've had one go bad due to a bad set of rings on a 300 Weatherby mag, it was repaired to like new in a couple weeks, only cost me shipping one way. I'd have to say go for it!

I used these for years and they are like a magic wand. You still need to be a disciplined shooter to get the most out of them but lemmetellya, when you have a moving caribou at over 500yds in a wind all the hard part(elevation) is done for you.

Years ago I was at one of the shoots at Camp Grayling where we had access to the popup range that had electronic kd silouette targets out to 1000m.

I brought my M1A M21T with the a Shepherd on it. The M21T is the very accurate version of the M1A. ANYWAY I ticked the guys with the mildot scopes because by the time they fiddled with their knobs I hit their targets and went on to others.

To put it another way, imagine going from 100m to 1000m with NO work at figuring elevation other than working with the reticle inside the scope. In fact, you can go through 10 targets from 100 - 1000 faster than I wrote this one paragraph. Just shift point of aim, fill the circle with target and pull.

AT one time I did... unbelievable things for this country without question, because it was my country and right. NOW, my country, that country, no longer exists and I now I feel I am the Philip Nolan of my age.
