Need help from the gear guru's

I have a friend that is wanting to try his hand at making some gear and needs a source for 1040 cordura nylon. Anyone know were a person could purchase some in various colors?

1040?? Nylon is measured in "Denier", which is a fancy way of measuring how thick the fibers are. Most Cordura used in tactical gear is 1000 Denier.

For small purchases, have him try www.paragear.com, (http://www.paragear.com,) otherwise there are some fabric places online, but usually have a yardage minimum involved.
